What is the difference between a tutor and educational therapist?

Educational Therapy is conducted by a specialist to children who typically have learning disabilities. It involves multi-sensory evidence based instruction.

Is my child succeeding academically with distance learning?

Our office is committed to providing families with data about learning and present levels. We can help provide recommendations and interventions to help children learn.

What is Educational Therapy?

We are Experienced

Our professionals have each been working with children for over 25 years. We have helped thousands of children since then.

We are Thorough

Learning Upward will thoroughly review all past records as well as present to ensure the future plan is meaningful and focused to what your child needs.

We Take Our Time

Our testing appointments continue until all of our work is properly done. We understand that everyone works differently and at various pace.

What are the benefits of Educational Therapy?

Choosing Learning Upwards means your child has the care of different professionals who know about the research on disabilities and educational therapies. Working intensively 1:1 or in 3:1 with your child allows for multi sensory instruction to be meaningful. Educational Therapy is individualized based on where your child’s academic, attention, and social emotional skills are. Using data to guide each session and being able to provide that data to families means progress can be measured. Additionally, children often tell their parents they want to come back to our office. Kids will tell you how much we care.

Our Services

Learning Upward provides counseling, specialized academic instruction, coaching, and tutoring. We collect data through our assessments and then develop a treatment plan individualized to your child and family needs. We recognize the unprecedented struggle that children face during COVID. We decided to provide our service so that children and families can get through this together.

  • Our Focus for Educational Therapy center is to provide evidence based therapy and support to all children with educational and mental health needs.
